Pursuant to Labor Advisory No. 33 Series of 2020, effective 11 December 2020, the Department of Labor and Employment shall cease to accept online applications for the Php 5,000 financial assistance under CAMP-Bayanihan 2 (i.e. CAMP regular and CAMP for the Education Sector).
The Department has reached the target beneficiaries and is currently evaluating and processing payment of the remaining applications.\nMeanwhile, the DOLE shall continue to receive and process applications for financial assistance for Tourism Sector workers prescribed under the DOLE-DOT
Joint Memorandum Circular No. 2020-001 and Joint Advisory No. 01, Series of 2020.

Considering the economic and national emergencies in the country, some establishments whose operations are affected may have adopted alternative work schemes, effected temporary closure, retrenchment or reduction of workers, or permanent closure.
Prior to such implementation, employers are required to notify the DOLE of any changes in the operation of establishments as listed above.

The Safety Seal program is an inter-agency effort among the DILG, Department of Health (DOH), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Tourism (DOT), and Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) which grants establishments a Safety Seal to be conspicuously displayed indicating that the building or establishment they are entering are compliant to health protocols against Covid-19.
The Department of Labor and Employment shall be the issuing Authority for those who fall under the following Industries:

  • • Manufacturing
  • • Construction sites
  • • Utilities (Electric, Water, Gas, Air conditioning Supply,
  • • Sewerage, Waste Management)
  • • Information and Communication companies (Private Publication,News, Movie Production, TV and Radio Companies)
  • • Warehouses
